Our Impact

Since our inception in 2000, Ontario Genomics has:

  • Raised more than $1.2 billion for genomics research in Ontario and directly supported more than 7,900 jobs.
  • Secured over $450 M federal Genome Canada funds, $110 M provincial (Ministry of Research Innovation and Science) co-funding, and more than $215 M direct industry investments for Ontario genomics research programs.
