25 Years of Inspiring Innovation

Ontario Genomics - 25 Years of Inspiring Innovation

A one-of-a-kind gala, celebrating 25 years of genomics innovations in Ontario

Since 2000, Ontario Genomics has partnered with researchers, visionaries and industry leaders on hundreds of exciting and awe-inspiring projects in health, food and agriculture and cleantech to make this province a better place to live, work and thrive.

They were all motivated by the same question: What if we could?”

And now, we’re celebrating all of the incredible accomplishments and ground-breaking solutions that have come to life at our 25 Years of Inspiring Innovation Gala, presented by Illumina!

We hope you’ll join us on Wednesday, June 18 at the Arcadian Court in downtown Toronto to reminisce about all the incredible progress that has happened and look ahead to the new heights Ontario can reach with the help of biotechnology.

The evening will feature:

  • Networking with 300 industry leaders, policymakers, investors, founders and life sciences academics.
  • Ontario Genomics’ 25th Anniversary Awards – more information coming soon!
  • A delightful dinner and an inspiring show hosted by Jeremie Saunders. Jeremie is an award-winning actor, producer, and host of the popular CBC podcast Sickboy. Born and raised on the East Coast of Canada, Jeremie has become a leading voice in reshaping how society views illness and disease. He lives with Cystic Fibrosis, a genetic lung disease that shapes his personal and professional journey.

Please join us in honouring the past, celebrating the present, and driving the future of innovation in Ontario and beyond!
