Science and Technology Platforms

As part of Competitions I and III , the Ontario Genomics Institute funded three projects to develop science and technology (S&T) platforms in Ontario worth $31.7 million (which includes $20.2 million in funding from Genome Canada). The resulting platforms provide genomics services to researchers, including analysis in bioinformatics and proteomics, DNA sequencing, genotyping, mapping, and microarrays.

On 15 August 2008, Genome Canada launched a new competition for development of S&T platforms. For more details, review the competition’s Guidelines and Evaluation Criteria.
