The Ontario Genomics Institute partners with the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics
January 11, 2006
The Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI) is pleased to announce its membership in the University of Toronto Joint Centre for Bioethics (JCB).
OGI had previously worked with the JCB to develop and implement an innovative and highly successful GE3LS (Genomics-related Ethical, Environmental, Economic, Legal and Social issues) Support Program, linking scientists to GE3LS experts with whom they could work as a multi-disciplinary team to address issues arising from their research. In becoming the newest official partner in the JCB, the OGI is building on this important relationship and demonstrating its commitment to providing leadership in GE3LS.
