Bonnie Schmidt, Let's Talk Science President and OGI Board member, named one of the most influential women in Canada

The Ontario Genomics Institute congratulates OGI Board member Dr. Bonnie Schmidt on being named one of Canada’s Top 25 Women of Influence for 2012.  Dr. Schmidt, President and Founder of Let’s Talk Science, was named one of five women in the NGO category. 

Dr. Schmidt has served on the OGI’s Board of Directors since 2007. Her work to increase public awareness of science through education and outreach programming greatly benefits the scientific community and the general public. 

To celebrate their success, all 25 women will be included in the November edition of the Women of Influence magazine. One of these woman will appear on the cover, based on number of votes submitted online.  To vote for Dr. Schmidt, visit http://www.womenofinfluence.ca/top25-vote
