This year, OGI had a kiosk at the BIO convention in Chicago, US. As part of the Ontario Pavillion, OGI showcased a few leading genomics projects to highlight some of the innovative genomics research taking place in Ontario.
The four projects highlighted included:

Three representatives from OGI attended and talked to delegates about the outcomes of genomics research, commercialization, and opportunities in genomics research in Ontario.
OGI also gave a pre-view to its Genomics Sector Innovation Network (G-SIN) portal that highlights Ontario’s genomics sector with the aim of bringing the worlds of academic research and the private sector together.
