What We Do

Ontario Genomics [formerly “Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI)”] is a publicly-funded not-for-profit organization that works with companies, researchers, and policymakers to support the early stages of moving genomics technologies from the lab to solve real world problems in the clinic and industry.

Our mission is to spark, support and sustain Ontario’s genomics technology pipeline as a key driver of the province’s economy.

Researchers: we help you access funding
We work with researchers to provide access to Genome Canada funding and help develop competitive proposals, connect them with industry partners, and provide proof-of-concept funding for early-stage market driven research.
